Making the Most of Digital Tools

There are many digital tools emerging nowadays especially at the height of the pandemic. One of these is the online flat forms that students used to study. These digital tools can be of great help to the needs of every student especially if they are having difficulty.


One of it is learning Mathematics. Many students have experienced how difficult for them to understand each Mathematical equation and solve the problem. Here are some of the digital tools that can help students develop the necessary foundational understanding of Mathematical Operations.


1. Brainly– It’s a learning Flat form for anyone to ask and answer homework questions. Students can ask anything here and post. Anyone who sees or reads the post will answer that in the comment section. If there’s a problem can’t be answered in math, just post it there and wait for the answers. It’s good to use this app because most members of brainy are experts, no one will bother to comment if they don’t know the answer.


2. Microsoft Mathematics– Is an entry-level educational app that solves math and science problems. This app can be used in advance because it is part of the Microsoft office and can update it anytime, it has many benefits that can be used not only for students but also for teachers. This app can be download from the playstore for free and no adds


3. Khan Academy– Is an American non-profit educational organization created in 2008 by Sal Khan. It is a school alike but on the internet. It is more on uploading videos and exercises on youtube so that students can understand a topic in more detail which are similar to the style of a teacher giving a lecture. It’s actually a good guide for those students who cannot do self study and find it difficult to understand the lesson.


4. Photomath – Majority of the students use this app and known for taking pictures of Mathematical equations and giving a solution directly. It is also a free app and can be downloaded from the playstore. It provides step by step solutions to every math problem that given, but not all the given problems are readable by Phothomath and sometimes the solution is even wrong.


5. BuzzMath – Is an online learning platform that engages students in arithmetic exercises to help them remember what they learned in class. It is also thought to be a beneficial tool and one of the greatest possibilities for teachers to use in guiding and motivating their students. Students can choose from thousands of problems and examples to develop mastery through rapid detailed feedback on randomly generated values, allowing missed tasks to be retried. This website focuses on helping students learn and practice their cognitive skills while also providing them with pleasure and the desire to learn more and explore mathematics.


6. Desmos – Is a free advanced graphing calculator that allows users to discover new and intriguing ways to learn math. This web application offers numerous features that will assist every student in their studies and supports inquiry-based learning to help students gain a better knowledge of mathematics. Students can demonstrate their thinking in different ways and work at their own pace since it is quick and free to set up and run simple activities. It is a great way to see everyone participate and allows the teacher to view students’ work and ideas in real-time.
